Dr. Satpal S. Multani, B.Sc., M.Sc., O.D., Optometrist
Dr.Multani graduated from the Optometry School in Manchester University, UK in 1981 and provided eye care to his patients until 1992. From 1987, he supervised new Optometry graduates during their internship year and was examiner for the British College of Optometrists for professional qualifying exams required for registration to practice Optometry in the UK.
He attended New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and graduated with Doctor of Optometry degree in 1994 . He has been providing eye care to the Inland Empire community since 1997. Based on the success of the first location on Carnegie Drive in San Bernardino, Dr. Multani and his wife opened the doors to their second office in October 2007 in the new Redlands Towne Center plaza in Redlands. They relocated to a larger office on Idaho Street in 2019. To provide the best eye care to his patients, Dr. Multani has kept abreast with education and training. He is certified to treat glaucoma, infections, inflammation, allergies and injuries to the front structures of the eye. |
He is actively involved in the co-management of laser vision correction surgery with NVision in Ontario and other Ophthalmologists in the Inland Empire. He is a strong advocate in helping his patients make an informed and educated decision about this very important procedure.
He holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in Western University, College of Optometry in Pomona since 2011 when second year optometry students attended his offices for clinical clerkship. Starting June 2018, fourth year students complete one of the four required clinical rotations in the new location in San Bernardino. This is his way of serving his profession by educating tomorrow's eye doctors.
In addition to being an optometrist, Dr. Multani loves to cook in his tandoor, hosting party of 40 friends on weekends!

Baljinder Multani, Office Manager.
Dr. Multani and Baljinder have been married for 40 years and have three children. Baljinder has been managing the offices since 1987. She is responsible for the excellent selection of frames and the tasteful décor of the offices and display of the frames.
She assists our patients in the selection of the eye wear to suit their prescription, lifestyle and budget.
